Candy is someone who is always happy to help and strives to make work easier for our clients and her coworkers. Candy is the Clinical Consultant for Apache, in this role, she trains on both the solution and business objects, does audits of the system, builds, supports go-lives, and works with the sales team on new client opportunities. She also has had a challenge this work with a new Cerner Solution called Care Predictor, she had to design all the training collateral from scratch so that it would be ready to use for both commercial and federal clients.

I am writing to you regarding my 5 and a half years of working with Candy Marx.  I cannot say enough positive feedback.  She not only trained me but encouraged me to explore all possibilities that APACHE program has to offer.  Because of her guidance, the quality department and critical care department have consistently relied on my data to measure quality metrics, as well as create new quality projects utilizing APACHE.  She is always professional, and very prompt when I need her help.  She is very patient, understanding, and most of all professional in all aspects of her communication with me.  She has never said “not possible” with any of my inquiries to try and generate a report.  She always finds solutions, encouraging me to work with her and figure out the best way to get the data that I need.  I have so many quality reports including Restraint utilization, that I share with our nurse executive who is in charge of making sure we are compliant with JCAHO.  I credit Candy’s mentorship, and mutual respect between us for all the things I have accomplished to show NCH the value of the APACHE program.
