Capriel Fazzini, BSN, RN

We are so lucky to have Capriel Fazzini as our AN II, and I can't imagine a Nurse Leader more deserving of a DAISY Award. Capriel was on the floor prior to becoming a manager, which is evident in her leadership. She also left a lasting impression on many of our patients, who still routinely ask about her. Capriel is a perfect example of professionalism, leadership, and emotional intelligence. She leads with patient safety and staff satisfaction at the forefront of her decision-making and conflict resolution. She consistently creates an environment that fosters trust, respect, and ethical behavior. She is supportive and encouraging in our professional development and motivates staff to be the best nurse they can be.

I am so thankful to have a knowledgeable, supportive, and kind AN II, and I am certain my colleagues agree. Capriel is an extraordinary nurse and absolutely deserves to be recognized for all she does at the Cancer Center for patients and staff.
