I was not in the greatest mood the first couple days I was at the hospital and Cara let me vent to her about what was going on and everything leading up to the emotions that had been building up inside me. I felt comfortable enough to share things I haven’t shared with anyone else. It felt like I was talking to my big sister. There is no better feeling in the world than getting love and support from your family. I’ve had terrible trust issues with people in the past but talking to Cara felt like I was talking to an angel who understood me. She didn’t judge me and told me everything was going to be okay. That’s when you know someone was meant to be a nurse and should be recognized for how truly special she made me feel.
