I have worked in healthcare management for 20 years I’ve learned to spot those who provide superior care. Cara cared for me 2 out of 3 days I was admitted. During my admission, I had been unable to sleep and felt terrible. In addition to giving me my medications, she helped me focus on other interests and asked me about my life outside of the hospital. She had a special way of connecting with me, not just as a patient or illness but as a person. She helped me understand my condition, explained treatments, and helped reinforce what the Physicians were telling me. Cara was attentive to my pain, understanding of my fears and anxiety and provided excellent care. She cared for me as if I were her only patient and a VIP. Cara helped me get through a difficult time, and I will never forget her.
