I would like to recognize the CPICU Team: Glenna Haugen(RN), Kristen Dubiel(RN), Kristin Schneider(RN), Kimberly Meadows(RN), James Hamrick(RN), Dr. Sarah Nease and Dr. Rob Keith.

The CPICU team that was taking of my father during his 8 days in the unit was outstanding. Their sincere compassion, professionalism, and knowledge were above and typical care for our father and his family. They were constantly working with my father, trying to keep his vital signs where they needed to be, and always told him what they were doing even though he was not responding to them. My father has a cochlear implant, and they took extra time with and allowed me to change batteries and were willing to help if necessary. The team also reached out to the family visitors to see if they needed anything. At night, after visiting hours, they were always willing to answer my questions and called when there were any changes with my father.

Dr. Sarah Nease and Dr. Rob Keith had the best bedside manner I have ever seen. They are very calm, comforting, and compassionate doctors who take the time to call and talk to their patients and families. They are very respectful to the nurses they work with and always teach their staff.

Nurse Glenna is very sweet and kind and is always willing to pray and talk with families or patients.

Nurse Kim is always kind and a team player. She is willing to pray for patients and their families and cry with us during hard times.

Nurse Kristen Dubiel is always helping and teaching new nurses and is a team player. She is very easygoing and talks to families and patients with respect.

James is very knowledgeable nurse and works well as a team and was wonderful educating staff and families.

Please give these people the recognition they have earned and deserve. It is obvious that to these people, what they do is a calling and not just a paycheck. We were privileged to have these exceptional caregivers take care of our father and our family during his final days.
