Recently, RN Carene had a very agitated, disrespectful, angry patient. This patient used inappropriate language towards Carene, constantly. Through it all, she never raised her voice. She continued in her soft-spoken manner, tried to do everything to accommodate the patient when others probably would have behaved differently. Carene's demeanor never changed. She never got frustrated or ignored the patient. She continued to provide great service with a smile towards the patient until she was discharged. RN Carene, I applaud you!! Her attitude showed that she loves what she does and she does it well. I have learned so much working alongside her. I try to display the same mannerism when I'm faced with a difficult patient. RN Carene is a true DAISY Nurse.
