April 2018 Honoree
caressa coleman, RN
My father was transferred from Pekin to Methodist. His nurse was Caressa Coleman. My dad was nervous and stressed out when he arrived. By the time my mom and I arrived in the room, Caressa had calmed him down. She was amazing with him. Her calming demeanor helped ease his fear for the upcoming surgery. All his nurses and CNA's were top notch, but Caressa stood out.
On the day of surgery, Caressa came to his room to wish him well and hug him before surgery. Caressa made sure to check in with us when she was working as well to make sure things were going well. On behalf of my father and the family, I appreciate the fantastic care he has been receiving.

Thank you, Caressa, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
