As soon as my family met Carietta Webb, she made us feel at ease with a situation that is never pleasant for anyone. While going through all the long medical history with our very sick daughter, she even made my daughter smile. My husband and I thanked her that first day for such a positive, happy, upbeat attitude she had even though it was at the end of her twelve hour shift. She had such a beautiful personality, very informative and comforting, such a pleasure to be around. On the second day of our daughter’s stay she was still very ill with some symptoms worsening. We were blessed with Cari assigned to care for her again. She never minded my questions and always answered to my satisfaction. She even expressed some of her own concerns and phoned the doctor when she was not comfortable with my daughter’s level of improvement. My daughter got a roommate on the second day. Because of my daughter’s worsening condition, I decided to stay with her that night. The roommate did not agree to allow me to stay in the room. Cari could have simply asked me to leave but she went way above and beyond what she needed to do to find a different room to move my daughter to so I could stay with her. She told me I had been so proactive in my daughter’s care and she was not going to let us be separated. After all of her comforting work in our situation, my daughter finally broke her fever.

Cari is a very special woman who God has placed just where she should be. I am blessed to have met her. I want MVH to know how blessed they are to have her as an employee.
