Carina went through, page by page, of the Patient Handbook for the Lovinox Injection. I am an 87 year old lady, who landed in the hospital after a heart attack. Second day in the hospital, I discovered I had a clot on my lungs from arthroscopic surgery on the knee 1 month prior. I could hardly breathe, let alone walk. In the week I was hospitalized, I was blessed with having Carina as my nurse for 4 days. Shots frighten me, and I was told in order to dissolve the clot, I would need to give myself injections. I do not like shots, let alone giving them to myself. Carina, with her complete understanding, walked me through with tender loving care. She is a great teacher, nurse and positive individual.
