Carissa is a dedicated, compassionate, and highly professional nurse who is constantly providing outstanding care, encouragement, hope, and compassion. My wife was going through her final days and asked to be taken off excessive life support and allowed to go peacefully. She was in a controlled and monitored situation to allow that to happen. She reduced oxygen in controlled stages and expertly administered drugs to alleviate her discomfort and pain. Carissa's dedication, attention, application of skilled nursing with compassion and understanding allowed my wife's final hours to pass in a painless and peaceful manner. I will be eternally grateful that Carissa was on duty during this difficult time.
