My wife was scheduled for a biopsy. During the pre-operative preparations, Nurse Criss observed that my wife was not acting normally. Demonstrating exceptional clinical intuition, she requested a triage assessment for further evaluation.
What followed was a rapid, life-saving diagnosis. A CT scan and an MRI confirmed the presence of a tumor, a metastasis from a prior cancer diagnosis. Thanks to the immediate action of nurse Criss, my wife received timely treatment and targeted therapy. A follow-up MRI showed a dramatic improvement in the tumor. My wife is currently receiving occupational and physical therapy, making significant strides towards recovery.
This extraordinary outcome was only possible because Nurse Criss recognized the subtle clinical signs. Her attention to detail and proactive care exemplify the highest standards of nursing practice and patient advocacy.
