A patient with few visitors was admitted. She spends many hours of the day alone. Carissa took the time to sit at her side, talk with her, and even paint her fingernails. The support and compassion continued. Carissa took the patient for a one on one tour of the facility. The patient was smiling from ear to ear and was excited to show everyone her freshly painted nails. Carissa was smiling as much as the patient. It appeared that the time together was good therapy for both of them.
