Our brother is in CCU, the second event in this hospital. We have encountered many nurses since his first hospitalization. On March 1st Carl Hammill was the caregiver for our brother. When speaking to Carl and explaining our concerns, we witnessed many great qualities that make him an exceptional nurse. Carl is an active listener, showed compassion and understanding. He asked my husband and me "What do you feel?" Carl gave his total undivided attention with our concerns and acted on them. Carl went above and beyond in the care of our brother.
