Carl went way beyond professionalism and standard procedure when my husband suddenly reacted to pain meds with terror, panic, hallucinations, and paranoia. As he ripped out his IV, monitors, and respiratory tubes, I saw how annoyed some were, but Carl spent every spare moment with us soothing my husband's fear and keeping him safe. He listened and agreed to every request he could and denied the rest with Respect and Love. I would not have made it through that night without him going above and beyond.
