I received a phone call from a former patient's daughter who wanted everyone to know how wonderful Carla, RN was. The daughter stated Carla went above and beyond. The daughter has worked in healthcare for 30+ years. She said she has never met such an outstanding nurse.
"We felt like Mom was giving up, then Carla called and asked us to send pictures. Carla showed the pictures to Mom and she perked up. Then Carla asked us to FaceTime with Mom and to hear her talk was unbelievable. This was the best thing for Mom and our family. What this meant to our family she will never know, she's the best."
The daughter did tell me her mom has passed since this happened.
