I came in for a standard test and Carla became very concerned with some of the readings and suggested I go to the ED for further testing. I was hesitant as I thought my symptoms were caused from anxiety I was experiencing earlier that day. Carla urged me in a gentle manner and to be better safe than sorry. I am so glad she did because further testing revealed an issue that needed medication to prevent further serious health problems and surgery.
Carla's clinical skill in correctly identifying this potential problem and her compassionate and gentle nature persuaded me to follow up with further testing. By catching the problem early, I was able to receive the needed medication and learn about other things I could do to improve my health.
