Carlene McRobert, RN

I nominate Carlene from the Oncology/Infusion department for the DAISY Award. Carlene is the true definition of a nurse. She is thoughtful, caring, kind, knowledgeable, calm, and goes the extra mile in all situations, all while remaining professional. She will call my doctors at another hospital if they need any clarification. Carlene and the staff are outstanding! She makes me feel confident in my frequent appointments to that department.

Carlene is the best nurse we’ve ever had! She always goes above and beyond in our care. We always feel like the only patient she has. In a time when we’re so unsure of anything, Carlene is always there for us and brings us peace.

Having gone through 4 months of Chemo and other treatments. I can unequivocally give a huge thank you to Carlene. In every single treatment given, she was very professional, thoughtful, and personable. Never were my treatments “just a job.” Her knowledge base on getting my port to flow when others could not was impressive. Not one question went unanswered, and she went the extra mile to ensure I was comfortable and as happy as possible. I had other nurses who were also very good, but Carlene stood out as exceptional.
