Carlene Turner, RN

We have been in the NICU for a month now. It’s been the most traumatic experience my wife and I have endured. A grief like no other of what we envisioned labor/delivery and bonding with our baby would be. Carlene has gone above and beyond with her care and acknowledgment of our daily stress. We are a military family and do not have family to help with our toddler or other stresses. Carlene has felt like a loving family member every single day since she was assigned to our son. She has helped my wife on days she felt like she physically couldn’t handle the mental load of the NICU. Carlene is a fantastic nurse, always checking to see if we need anything, and she takes excellent care of our son, reassuring us when we have to switch off being at home with our toddler. She has truly been a godsend, and I don’t know how we would have gotten through this without her. We are beyond grateful for the entire NICU staff.
