Carli Botten, RN

I am a stage IV metastatic lung cancer patient and Carli went above and beyond her normal nursing duties. She spent time with me, laughed with me, and got a chance to hear about my family and amazing grandson. Although I am dying she made me feel seen and heard and her compassion and empathy were outstanding. My heartfelt thank you for all of the kindness and gentleness you showed me during my stay at Methodist. It is nurses like yourself who make it a little easier for those of us who are dying to handle it much better when we know that we still matter. My story may not be as tragic as others maybe but for me, it's just as important and you’ve made a tremendous impact on me and my life. I will take and remember your heartfelt hugs! Carli, you truly are one of a kind.
