I am honored to shine a spotlight on Ms. Carli Stern, Staff Nurse of the Pediatric Primary Care Clinic, for her exceptional dedication, compassion, and professionalism in the Clinic.

Ms. Stern consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that every child and family feels safe, heard, and cared for.  Her ability to connect with pediatric patients, often easing their fear and anxiety with patience, kindness, and clear communication, sets her apart. Families often express their gratitude for her calm presence, thorough assessments, and genuine concern for their children’s well-being.

Ms. Stern is distinguished by her unwavering commitment to both patients and colleagues, especially during times of staffing shortages.  Even when the clinic is stretched thin, Ms. Stern steps up without hesitation – taking on additional responsibilities, assisting peers, and helping maintain clinic flow while never compromising quality patient care. She is a dependable team player who leads by example, offering support, guidance, and encouragement to peers when it is needed most. Ms. Stern is steadfast in her journey towards professional development. 

Ms. Stern combines her passion with innovation by recognizing each patient’s unique needs and adapting care accordingly, whether through creative patient education or the use of updated clinical tools in an attempt to personalize care.
