Carlie Pratt, BSN, RN

As nurses, we are trained to constantly have compassion and empathy for those while also learning time management skills. Being a nurse is extremely difficult, especially in the emergency department. Carlie was extremely caring, compassionate, and took care of every one of her patients with kindness. She was never fast to respond and always listened first. She ensured to tell me what she was doing before she did it, and I felt very safe in her hands.

Carlie was extremely personable with my mother and always made sure we were informed. I think she would be an excellent DAISY Award Honoree because she is an excellent nurse, and even in the emergency department, she displayed excellent nursing care and compassion. She was wonderful! Carlie displayed excellent nursing morals, compassion, and was extremely intelligent!
