When she first introduced herself, I didn’t realize how lucky I was to get such a great nurse. As Carlien knows, I had issues with my heart but I did not realize how bad my condition was. But on Saturday, my condition worsened. Carlien calmly contacted the appropriate people and in 45 minutes I was in surgery. Her words of encouragement and support when I was being prepped were authentic and heartfelt. That made a huge difference to me. I cannot thank her enough for providing me with the best nursing care I could ever imagine during my entire stay. Thank you for all your love and care. I hope to stay well forever, but if I ever need help again, I hope to have someone as great as you helping me.
