Carlos Del Rio, RN
Carlos had a patient transition to comfort care. Unfortunately, the patient did not have any family so Carlos graciously displayed kindness and compassion by sitting with the patient at the bedside and holding their hand. He sat there making sure the patient wasn’t left alone and that they were comfortable during their last moments of life on this earth. Carlos truly deserves this award as he consistently cares for his patients as if they were his own family.
