My husband came in first to ER in a coma and on a respirator. He was not given a good prognosis. They moved us to the ICU under the care of Carlos. We immediately fell in love with the guy! He is caring and loving. Carlos makes you feel cared for and important! Everyone is treated with the highest level of respect. He explains everything that’s happening in a clear manner so that you truly understand what is happening. He went above and beyond to make us comfortable and even gave me a place to rest and recoup from what had happened. But what touched my heart so deeply was that after his shift on the first night, he went home and learned a bit of sign language so he could communicate with my husband at a higher level. Who does that these days? Well, Carlos does! This angel deserves wings of the highest level! He’s family now!​
