Carlos Garcia, RN
Carlos Garcia shows up every morning with a bright smile on his face and works diligently to ensure that every patient's needs are met. Whether it's getting them ready to return to the OR or holding their hands as they fall asleep, he assures them that we are all here to make everything alright. Even when the patient is waking up after anesthesia, his calming voice and presence shine through. He has consistently received positive feedback from patients, and you can be sure that his name is always mentioned. He truly deserves recognition for the wonderful job he does, and we all appreciate him immensely!

Recently, Carlos went above and beyond for a Spanish-speaking patient who was extremely anxious prior to surgery. She was uncomfortable with the telehealth interpreter provided and was visibly distressed. Carlos, although not assigned to our OR that day, came in to assist and translated for her as she drifted off to sleep under anesthesia. His presence and ability to communicate in her native language made a significant difference; the patient was so relieved that she began to cry, grateful to have him beside her.
