On behalf of my grandfather, I would like to thank Carlos for being so compassionate, open-minded, caring, and gentle with Mr. S. Thank you for walking my family and me through every step and explaining in the best way he could for us to be comfortable with the decisions we had to make during his long journey from day one; to being discharged, and, to coming back to the ICU. Thank you Carlos for comforting my family and me. I will make sure that you are acknowledged and rewarded for being an amazing RN. Thank you for being realistic and honest with us.

Most importantly, my grandfather knew you cared for him and did your best to take care of him. I wish nothing but the best and I hope you are awarded this award as a small gesture from my family and myself. Again, thank you a million times for being the best nurse.
