Carlotta goes the extra mile in assuring that her patient is cared for. Tonight my mother, 92 years old, suffered a fall. She had a possible break in her shoulder. Her pain was severe and she was given morphine. Carlotta accompanied mother for a cat scan to monitor her after the pain meds. She made sure she got the meds before this test so she would not be in additional pain.

Carlotta has been our nurse for about 5 hours now - we have been here since 7pm. I watched as she has worked with incoming patients along with my mother. I don't think I have ever seen a more dedicated and professional nurse as this young lady. Baptist DeSoto is blessed to have her as an employee.

Carlotta worked hard to help my mother get as comfortable as possible while insuring she was safely getting the right medication along with fluids to keep her blood pressure up. She is so knowledgeable and caring.

We were given a room about 4am and once again, Carlotta took mom to the room. She made sure she had pain medication to help with pain in the transfer. The transfer from the ED to the floor was much easier because of her. She made every effort to keep mother comfortable. Carlotta is a Great Nurse!

I have been to the ER for the second time in two weeks. Carlotta has been my nurse both times making me feel comfortable, keeping me updated on everything, very patient, understanding, helpful and most of all caring. I would like to thank her for being there for me in a time of need.
