Carly A Rix, RN

When I was first transitioned to work on 6B1, I noticed Carly’s style of nursing right away. I noticed that she maintained an open line of communication with all staff, ensuring patient care was delivered in a timely manner. She pays great attention to detail, catching errors that prevent patient injury. She is a great source of knowledge for all staff members and she is a great teacher to staff. She doesn’t take any BS, making sure the floor runs smoothly while being a positive person on the floor.

When I come to work, and Carly is working, I know that things will be done the RIGHT way and she will never cut corners. She’s up to date on all hospital policies and procedures, so I know we can problem-solve together. I have witnessed patients, and their families request her as their nurse because she makes them feel safe and well cared for. Carly is an exceptional nurse and I love working alongside her and learning from her. She is a DAISY Nurse.
