Carly Willeford, RN

Carly is an inspiration to others with her dedication, determination, and strong work ethic. When working with a long-term, extremely difficult patient, she has never lost focus on doing what is best for the patient, even when they don't want to participate. Every weekend for more than a year, she has remained determined to ensure this difficult patient is placed into the shower and receives a proper bath. While this may seem like a small thing, the effort needed to accomplish this task is great and could seem daunting. But Carly's "can-do" spirit has led to success where others have faced challenges. Showering this patient can take upwards of an hour of her time on a fast-paced unit where time is always in short supply. She has never failed to accomplish her mission of bathing this patient, even knowing how many other tasks she has waiting for her. Her caring attitude deserves to be celebrated and recognized!
