Carlyn is the Florence Nightingale of all the ER department. She exemplifies what caring truly means. Not only is she our leader on the floor, but she is also the chairperson of our shared governance council and a friend to anyone she meets. She is loved not only by her direct nursing staff but by every patient, doctor and ancillary team member that she encounters.
Carlyn has helped me grow as a nurse, taught me so much and she is the nurse I aspire to be. Her dedication to our community, both in and out of the hospital, is truly remarkable.
