I would like to nominate my colleague Carmel Murray who is a caring, kind, and compassionate Health Visitor.

Carmel goes above and beyond for the clients that she works with to ensure that their needs are met. She is very resourceful in knowing where and how to find additional support to offer to the families that may be in need of support particularly at the current financially challenging time.

Carmel is a mentor; she teaches and motivates the students that she is working with, ensures that she creates an environment that is conducive to learning, and willingly shares her knowledge with students as well as colleagues.

Carmel is a great team player who works so hard in supporting the team and steps up at all times to support the team and the service whenever she is asked and this, I must say, appears to be all the time, yet she never says No and never complains.

Carmel is hard-working, efficient, and dedicated, and I admire her resilience and ability to consistently provide kind and compassionate care to clients as well as to her colleagues.
