Carmen has shown exceptional compassion for my husband during a rough time when he felt the nursing staff was not acting in a professional manner. Carmen took the extra time to listen and reassure actions would be taken. Carmen smiled each and every time a family member approached the nurses' station. When I phoned Carmen to explain about my husband, once again, she took the time to listen and was reassuring and compassionate. I introduced myself and was greeted with a smile always. It is rare to encounter a healthcare professional who truly enjoys and believes in providing care to patients. In my opinion, Carmen is a true DAISY Nurse.
