Carol Williams provides continuity, consistency and a positive attitude to the work setting. She has been off due to surgery and upon her return everything seems to be falling back in order. She is a mentor, friend and leader to the staff and an experienced clinician, supporter and a breath of fresh air to the patients. She begins her introduction to each patient with "Welcome to Teay's Valley Hospital. We are so glad you chose us". She has the ability to put others at ease and uses every occasion as an opportunity to teach and share her knowledge. The impression she makes on patients, as well as staff, is lasting and we are truly blessed to have her as a nurse and leader in our department.
One recent comment from a new nurse which truly sums up Carol's qualities: "Whenever she works, please make sure I do too. I need more of her knowledge".
