Carol Bennett, MSN, RN

Carol is recognized for her unwavering commitment to excellence, guidance, and leadership. Her dedication has empowered our team and inspired success at every level. Carol has been a leader and mentor to many over the past few years. She has taken on new leaders transitioning to Lee Health, providing them guidance and a caring ear. Carol has worked on call for years to ensure that the staffing coordinators were trained for daily operations and creative season staffing. Over the past six months, Carol transitioned out of GEN MED/CARD MED to a new adventure on GI SCPU, SPCU, and Vascular. She transitioned here without question, still providing guidance and mentoring her previous leaders. She continues to be the leader who has the history of the Gulf Coast while listening to what is needed here today. Carol is always the lending hand, warm hug, and tough talk to get through the day. She views nursing as a team, not individual units, and finds ways to support the staff to care for our patients.
