Carol Beth Perkins is our DAISY Nurse from our Maricopa County Jail. She has made a huge difference in our relationship with correctional health. She plays music for the inmates during treatment. She brings them cookies and crossword puzzles to help them pass the time. Beth has taken great interest in making sure her inmate patients have the necessary medication and nutrition while in her care. The entire correctional health team loves Beth.

Although I have never met you in person, it comes as no surprise to me why you received this award, as I look back on all the phone encounters we have had over the last few years. You are unfailingly thorough and detail-oriented, always ready to make suggestions and take the initiative, and most importantly appear to show genuine concern for your patient's well-being.
