There are not any words that I can use to express how amazing Carol Black is. On this particular day, our unit had a very difficult day with a 32 week Intrauterine Fatal Death and a 13 week Intrauterine Fetal Death. We did not have a Family Support Nurse on shift we called Carol to see if she would come in to assist with the family and staff, without hesitation she came right in to help. Carol is the absolute best resource for taking care of our IUFD patients. Carol has a positive attitude, works hard, and always willing to help others. I hope to grow to be a nurse like her someday. Because of her, I know that these patients had a better experience and received the best care possible during their difficult times. I want everyone to know how much we truly appreciate her and how much of an asset to our department and hospital she is. I feel that she needs recognition for all that she does. Thank you.
