Carol performs many roles in the Emergency Department (staff nurse, charge nurse, and clinical coordinator). Carol has a heart of gold, and would do anything she can to help out her coworkers and patients. Carol is our unit's Partners In Caring representative and participates in the many events for the hospital. This year, Carol went above and beyond with the Partners In Caring philosophy and raised funds for a fellow nurse who lost their home in a tragic fire. Within days, the nurse received emergency assistance from the Hospital Partners in Caring program and $800 dollars donated by fellow co-workers. Carol's compassion goes beyond the bedside and we are lucky to have such a kind-hearted nurse in our department.
