I was struggling mentally very badly after having my son. Carol is a big reason I chose to stay when I was able to be discharged early. She saw I was struggling and spoke up for me. She noticed and paid attention even when I didn’t want to admit it. Carol took my baby for me so I could get some sleep. She noticed I wasn’t sleeping so she took him to help me. When she took him, she saw that my son was having a seizure that lasted for 12 minutes. If she hadn’t taken him that day, we would never known he was having a seizure. That little decision saved my son’s life and I am so grateful me and my son had Carol to take care of us. Not only us, but my husband. She is a blessing and a big reason why I will stay with Henry Ford for my care.
