RN Fulker went above and beyond for quality healthcare not just for a single patient or family, but for all behavioral health patients. She recognized an unmet need in our patients for quickly delivered coping skills education, and an untapped resource for professional skills among her clinic's psychiatric nurses and behavioral health technicians. Working with her fellow psychiatric nurse, Nurse Fulker co-created a new coping skills education service, available to all behavioral health patients. In addition, she has begun training behavioral health technicians to provide evidence-based coping skills education in the areas of sleep, hygiene, anger management, stress management, biofeedback, and relaxation. Carol Fulker's care, compassion, and high degree of professionalism resulted in accelerated wellness and readiness for all her patients.
