I have found Carol to be an outstanding and supportive nurse. She was always there for me by telephone or email. She has been my advocate and took the time to research questions I had and worked with others for the answers. During my clinical care, I experienced severe nausea and was able to reach her and she coached me through the things I should be doing; I was amazed she calmly repeated recommendations she had made to me before and again answered all my questions.

There was a time that I felt strongly about giving up and Carol sensed this in me. She told me 'We will get you through this!' and immediately outlined a plan. Her positive attitude in that interaction helped me fall in step and I was able to go on. I am so thankful for Carol and her tremendous support she gave me all through my treatment and care at MD Anderson.
