I visited Carol in her office to be educated in diabetes care. She was extremely knowledgeable and capable of presenting information in a user-friendly way that made me feel like I could take on this challenge. She showed empathy, compassion, and great understanding of my individual situation. She explained my condition and how to manage it, and helped me think outside the box and ways that we could accomplish the goals that we set for my well-being and journey with this disease. I felt like she was a true partner, and my journey of learning how to manage living with diabetes and the most successful way. I felt empowered by her knowledge, compassion, and respect. Carol is a true asset to this clinic and to the patients she works with and teaches.
