Carol took her time with me and treated me with such respect.
I am a paraplegic and have been in and out of hospitals. Tonight I was admitted to Memorial Hospital, my nurse Carol, really made an impression on me that will last a lifetime. Nurses are busy! But Carol took her time with me and treated me with such respect. She never made me feel like I was asking too much or that I was a bother. She made me feel human. She got me a call bell right away that I could push. That was special since I cannot use my hands. She even scratched my head when it itched! Never once, making me feel like it was a bother or too much. I feel blessed to have had her as a nurse. And I really wanted her to get the recognition she deserves.
