Carol McLeod has reminded me how much she contributes to Summerlin Hospital and the patients we provide care to. She quietly goes about creating real change for the patients we serve. She is constantly working on ways to improve processes and care. She is relentless in her drive to bring education to the bedside and make sure the staff has the tools they need to do their jobs. She jumps in wherever and whenever needed, often covering random leadership needs when there are gaps.
On our recent recertification survey, it was clear to the surveyor that someone had a hand in our phenomenal compliance. While Carol doesn't often appear in the spotlight, she needs to because her compassion, passion, and care for our patients make her deserve it and more.
Carol represents the facilities vision "Patients & Families are our Purpose" and is a true representation of a DAISY Nurse. Please join me in congratulating Carol McLeod!
