Carol always went out of her way to have a meaningful conversation with me. She helped me get to the bottom of some issues and learn some coping skills. She never made me feel like I was a burden and always followed through with what she said she was going to do. She played an instrumental part in helping me communicate with the doctor when my thoughts were racing. She was able to pick up on the little changes in my mood and help to encourage me. She was my cheerleader and I owe my survival and discharge to her.
