A gentleman from the community called St. Vincent to tell the story of a rescue. The person rescued was his 5 year old granddaughter who had been in an automobile accident. Carol was a few cars behind the accident and pulled her car to the side of the road to offer help. Carol performed CPR on the 5 year old child until a medical helicopter arrived. Carol called to check on the progress of the young girl. The gentleman who made the call expressed his belief that his granddaughter was alive because of Carol's efforts.
