Here are just a few of the reasons Dr. Carol Smith is loved by her students:
She is the most amazing professor! She is more willing to go the extra mile to help her students. I believe that she wants everyone to learn and I wasn't interested in taking critical care until taking her class.

She is the best professor I have had at Bellarmine. She forms a relationship with you and helps her students in any way she can. I hope everyone had a chance to have her so that is why I am nominating her.

Dr. Smith taught with enthusiasm and passion that was infectious. She listened to her students' requests and modified her teaching based on student needs. She was willing to meet with students outside of her designated office hours, provided additional learning opportunities, and provided tools for a variety of learners (visual, auditory, etc.). Her animated storytelling within class helped cement foundational concepts that students will keep with them once in the professional field of nursing. Thank you, Dr. Smith, for your encouraging words and making an intimidating class one of my favorites.
