Working in the operating room can be challenging. We are performing complex surgeries on high risk patients; the margin for error is small. If there is a complication in the OR, things can get chaotic. Carol has always been calm in these situations. She is one step ahead of the surgeon and knows exactly what he/she will need in a particular situation. She is also a great teacher and has been teaching nurses how to work in the OR for years. She is very professional in dealing with our OR patients. Most of these patients are very nervous and she does a great job in calming them.
