If a nurse were ever deserving of this award, it would be Carol Trudeau RN CCU. She is an Angel on earth. Carol took amazing care of my mom while she was on a ventilator for several days. We took her off and she passed 3 days later. Carol cared for her with passion and love. She braided her hair even though she was in a comatose state. She kept her body in amazing shape well cleaned, bathed, and repositioned. Knowing she would pass, she cared for her like her own loved one. She made the passing of my mother so much easier to deal with. She was open and honest about her condition, and Carol always answered all questions honestly. If I could write a book on how awesome Carol was, I would. She is a true angel on earth, and I will be forever indebted to her. Give her the award!
