Carol Verdin is the understated glue that holds Rehab together on an everyday basis. Carol has led us through Magnet, is always encouraging through EPIC and gracefully handles the day to day challenges that arise on our unit. She is innovative, a team player and simply a great person who has a heart of gold which she shares with her patients as well as the staff. Carol is always there for you whether it is a rapid response, to assist with a clinical issue or simply help find the answer to an unknown problem. We couldn’t ask for a better charge nurse or role model. Carol is very deserving of the DAISY Award.
