I started cardiac rehab following a triple bypass surgery. After one week of rehab, COVID-19 closed the unit. While the unit was closed, Carol still called me each week to check on me. Those calls included words of encouragement and a caring attitude. When I returned to rehab a few months later, Carol was straight-forward in her care and instructions. She was caring, encouraging, empathetic, and knowledgeable. Her encouragement throughout my rehab helped me to progress in my exercise and well-being. She always kept me in the loop on my progress and frequently congratulated me on my efforts. Carol is a treasure and an amazing nurse. My ever grateful thanks goes out to Carol for taking wonderful care of me.
